Since he was a kid, Devo has always wanted to make his own films. In fact, he tried several times over the years and failed miserably at it. But after taking filmmaking classes at the now defunct New Jersey Film School and then acting classes with LaGuardia Acting Studio he was finally able to make something happen.

Below are the films that are currently available for viewing (in descending order). Future films will be posted to Devo's Vimeo page as they become available.

Talk to the Hand (2024)

After seeing the 2023 horror film Talk to Me (and loving it) Devo immediately thought of a way to spoof it. This time he enlisted the help of a dozen students from LaGuardia and managed to film a short spoof film that was accepted into several film festivals. The film featuring Luke Ski doing his Gilbert impression and a re-recorded public domain song from The Dr. Demento Show. After making this film Devo decided to focus his filmmaking efforts on comedies going foward. As much as he loves horror films there are lots of directors out there making great horror films each year and not so many making good spoofs.

Room 259 (2023)

The first "real" short film he made is Room 259. In the spring of 2023 Devo had to spend four days in a cheap motel in Pennsylvania with his son for a swim meet and got a bug in him to film something while he was there. This was the result. With a little help from horror parody artist Jeff Whitmire (who happened to live near the hotel) and his friend Nicole who he met at acting class (who has a green screen and knows how to use it), Devo made a short horror film that was accepted to several film festivals.

The Clarabelle Challenge (2018)

The first thing Devo ever mananged to film was a 15-second horror short called The Clarabelle Challenge. Every year there's an online 15 second horror film challenge and in 2018 Devo decided to try it out. This was the result. Devo considers this a win because it's a film you can watch, which is farther than he ever got before. The premise is there's a website that if you visit it and say the name "Clarabelle" three times bad things will happen.
