World Robot Domination on This Week In Science CD
(March 17, 2007)
UPDATE: The episode of This Week In Science that aired on April 10th and is available for download at TWIS' website (www.twis.org) featured "World Robot Domination" during the break at the half hour!
Sudden Death's latest song "World Robot Domination" has been chosen to be included on this year's compilation CD for This Week In Science.
This Week In Science is a weekly news show produced by Kirsten Sanford, PhD and broadcast each Tuesday morning on KDVS in Davis California. The show is recorded and released as a podcast via the show's web site www.twis.org.
This is the second year that This Week In Science will be using the CD as part of the radio station's annual fund raiser. The CD features science themed songs and music and is given away to people who make a contribution to the station of a certain amount.
"I love the song, so yes, please! Thanks for personalizing the beginning to TWIS" said Kirsten in an email to Sudden Death. The beginning of the song features a sample of an episode of the show where Kirsten and co-host Justin Jackson said "This week in world robot domination" and then sang some ominous music. This sung music inspired some of the music that is included in the song.
The CD will be available in the coming months and given away during the station's fund raiser. If any are left after the fund raiser is over they will be sold at cost. For more information visit www.twis.org.
