I am incredibly happy to announce the return of Manic Mondays to the virtual airwaves! The weekly show was resurrected at a surprise live performance this past weekend at Con On The Cob. If you weren't there you can download the first episode directly here.
Manic Mondays, if you're not familiar, is a weekly comedy podcast featuring usually three comedy songs, a weekly segment called News Of The Stupid, and occasionally other segments such as Horrible Movie Reviews or interviews with comedy musicians. I produced the show from March of 2005 until September of 2009 when I ended it due to all the crap going on in my personal life. I missed it immediately but couldn't bring it back until things settled down and I could get my life back in order. That appears to be happening, so I figured it was time, and I thought it would be fun to spring it on an unsuspecting live audience. I was right. It was.
The show now features a new theme song recorded by Possible Oscar but that's really the only change you will notice, other than maybe a new occasional segment or two I have planned. The show will still be posted late Sunday night to be ready for your commute back to work on Monday morning, and for those of you who are podcast-saavy the RSS feed for the show has not changed. It is http://feeds.feedburner.com/manicmondays. And you can always download the episodes directly from my web site here: http://www.devospice.com/manicmondays.php.
