New Private Circle for Subscribers on G+
(July 11, 2011)
Last week I got an invitation for Google+, Google's new social network service which is currently in private beta. (Thanks, guy who invited me! You know who you are.) While it still has a ways to go to be a Facebook killer I can see the potential and I already like parts of it better than I do Facebook. Particularly, I like having the ability to easily update a group of my friends. It isn't all or nothing like it is on Facebook.
This got me thinking. I could create a circle (Google's version of lists or groups) that contains only my Spice Rack subscribers. Then I can use that circle to update them as things happen with what is going on.
So I've gone ahead and added that circle and sent out my first message this morning. I added all my subscribers to the circle. Those of you who are not yet using Google+ should have received an invitation from me. If you haven't let me know and I'll send you another one.
If you want to get in on this circle and get behind the scenes updates on what I'm working on as it happens you just need to join the Spice Rack. All the information is here: http://www.devospice.com/spicerack.php
